“ You know one thing my dad didn’t do? He didn’t green-light to turn Gaza into a Trump golf course with the Maître D being Jared Kushner”.
-@HunterBiden
That’s objectively on point. Jared Kushner is the maitre d of Gaza.

Fusako Shigenobu was a Japanese woman who joined the Palestinian resistance and fought alongside Palestinian fighters for Palestine. She was arrested in 2000 and released in 2022.
Last August, in partnership with the Dangote Group, we made significant progress by signing a landmark shareholders’ agreement for a fertilizer plant with a planned annual production capacity of 3 million metric tons of urea. In October 2025, we officially launched construction of the project.
This initiative represents far more than infrastructure. It is a strategic investment in Ethiopia’s agricultural transformation, food security, industrial growth, and economic self-reliance. Once completed, the fertilizer plant will play a vital role in strengthening local production capacity, reducing dependence on imports, supporting millions of farmers, and creating new opportunities for jobs and investment.
This morning, together with @AlikoDangote, I visited the project site in Gode to assess the progress achieved so far. I am encouraged by the steady momentum across the project area. Construction activities are advancing as planned across multiple sections of the site, reflecting the strong commitment and collaboration driving this important national project forward.
Whoever came up with the phrase cheap is expensive certainly never fueled at Astrol Petrol Station.
1. It is 100% Kenyan, founded in 2000 by the late Thayu Kamal Kabugi and is now run by the son, James Mwangi.
2. They not only own the land their stations are built on to cut costs but also manage their stations directly rather than franchising.
3. Their fuel contains a high 91 PON rating, which is higher than the premium fuels around, including V-Power.
4. They are not only 2 - 7 shillings cheaper but also never hoard fuel whenever there are shortages.
We don’t appreciate such companies enough
Guys, there is a criminal mafia-type network that has entered the boda boda sector.
How it works:
People are offered 700 bob for a 200 bob trip by two heavy men. Then the rider is beaten, bike stolen and sold across the border.
A sector that employs 1.5 million is at risk!
Nike has now officially opened its first East Africa store at Sarit Centre, Westlands in Kenya, a direct store for customers, not a reseller like before.
If you treat maintenance like a recommendation, your trailer will eventually force you to take a permanent vacation at the side of the road, or worse.

She was called Phillis because that was the name of the ship that brought her, and Wheatley, which was the name of the merchant who bought her. She was born in Senegal 🇸🇳
In Boston, the slave traders put her up for sale: “She's 7 years old! She will be a good mare!”
She was felt, naked, by many hands.
At thirteen, she was already writing poems in a language that was not her own. No one believed that she was the author. At the age of twenty, Phillis was questioned by a court of eighteen enlightened men in robes and wigs.
She had to recite passages from Virgil and Milton and some verses from the Bible, and she also had to vow that the poems she had composed were not copied. From a chair, she underwent her lengthy examination until the court approved her: she was a woman, she was Black, she was enslaved, but she was a poet.
Phillis Wheatley was the first African-American writer to publish a book in the United States.
The High Court yesterday made a very important decision. When you take a loan from any lending institution, the amount of interest accrued cannot exceed the amount you received from the institution (principal). Meaning if you borrow kshs. 100,000, you cannot pay more than kshs.200,000 in total. This is good news to many Kenyans. Tag that one lending institution wajionee habari kamili.

Four visa denials later - and having picked up a basketball just six years ago - Madina Okot has made history as the first Kenyan to be selected in the first round of the WNBA Draft, joining the Atlanta Dream.
There are a couple of very strategic equatorial launch sites in Africa with very good proximity to extremely low-cost liquid natural gas and petrochemical industries.
At the equator, Earth’s rotation gives rockets a measurable boost, which is one reason equatorial launch sites matter. NASA puts surface speed at about 1,675 km/h at the equator.
So we can build modern methane-powered rockets and do space launch from Africa.
They’re already doing this in Kenya, so there’s some precedent for this. Kenya’s San Marco platform supported orbital launches for years, and a recent Kenya Space Agency presentation argues an equatorial Kenyan spaceport could deliver a 10-15% payload advantage over higher-latitude sites.
