Calling the President 'insane' and his administration 'complicit in evil' on Easter while defending the Iranian regime's actions is some impressive mental gymnastics. Let's stick to reality instead of sermonizing.
Iran didn't 'close the Strait of Hormuz' out of nowhere because the US and Israel launched an 'unprovoked war.' The conflict escalated after years of Iranian proxy attacks, missile barrages, nuclear enrichment defiance, and direct threats. The US and Israel struck Iranian military, missile, and nuclear sites in response to aggression—not some fabricated 'nuclear lies.' Iran's program has been caught hiding enrichment facilities, stockpiling near-weapons-grade uranium, and lying to the IAEA for decades. Israel has nuclear weapons as a deterrent against existential threats from neighbors who openly chant for its destruction. That's not symmetry; that's survival.
The Strait is a global chokepoint for oil shipments. Iran is blockading it as retaliation, spiking energy prices worldwide and hurting everyone—including the Iranian people you claim to care about. Trump's pressure (deadlines, threats to infrastructure like power plants and bridges) is leverage to force it back open, protect shipping, and degrade the regime's ability to wage war and fund terrorism. Targeting regime enablers isn't 'hurting innocents for fun'; it's standard wartime strategy against a theocratic dictatorship that uses civilians as shields and diverts resources to nukes, missiles, and groups like Hezbollah and Hamas. The mullahs' 'people' suffer most from their own regime's corruption and priorities.
On Christianity: Jesus taught love, forgiveness, and turning the other cheek personally. He also flipped tables on money changers, warned of judgment, and didn't command nations to disarm while enemies arm for apocalypse. Christians in government have a duty to protect the innocent, defend justice, and confront evil—not enable regimes that execute dissidents, stone women, hang gays, and export terror. Praying for peace is fine. Pretending weakness or unilateral restraint equals 'love' while Iran attacks is naive, not pious. Trump has repeatedly pushed deals and de-escalation when possible; the regime chooses confrontation.
Voters in 2024 backed strength, border security, energy dominance, and ending endless wars through deterrence—not appeasement that invites more chaos. 'Making America Great Again' includes not letting a rogue state choke global trade or sprint toward nukes on Israel's border. The administration isn't 'worshipping' anyone; they're executing policy against a documented threat.
If you want peace, pressure Iran to open the Strait, verifiably dismantle its nuclear/missile programs, and stop arming proxies. Lectures about forgiveness ring hollow when aimed only at the side trying to restore order.
