Bold enough to call out anyone while staying classy. I'm a whole mood! The Goddess is here, and if you don't know my name, call me Queen 😂 #Activist#Advocate
The Turn the Key program is giving everyday working Philadelphians access to homeownership.
Turn the Key homes embody “affordable luxury,” and are instrumental to our Housing Opportunities Made Easy initiative, helping more residents to become first-time homebuyers, and plant roots in our communities.
One of my primary goals as Mayor is to build, rehabilitate, and restore 30,000 units of housing in Philadelphia, and through programs like Turn the Key, we will reach that goal, and make homeownership accessible for as many people as possible in our City.

🎦🔊I BELIEVE THAT WE WILL WIN! I see my grandmother’s resilience in Germantown. I’m running to pass her grace onto the place she loved — the place we love. This is our home, and this place is worth fighting for! When we fight together, WE WIN! Vote by mail or on April 23rd!
That's my story and I'm sticking to it 🤣🤣🤣

I want to recognize @KendraPHL for her leadership and advocacy for the life-saving values of harm reduction. I commend the councilmember for standing up for what she believes in and being a partner in the ongoing effort to educate policymakers and the public on this issue.
.@CommCtofPA has affirmed the @PhilaCourts decision that WFP Council At-Large candidates @KendraPHL@NicForPhilly remain on the ballot.
Republican attorneys had tried to kick them off for e-filing their financial disclosures when the City... invites e-filing of these disclosures.
Today I am beyond proud to announce that my campaign has been endorsed by @JoshShapiroPA .
I’m grateful to have the endorsement of a leader who delivers for working families. Together, we will protect our reproductive rights, address gun violence, and stand up to extremists.
Did you know that Philadelphia once had a rent-control law?
It didn’t last long. But it existed.
And it’s the topic of this week’s Philly history thread, starting with a headline from today’s Philadelphia Inquirer in 1947:
“Lawyers to Aid Rent Commission.”
