So pleased for our colleagues in Manitoba!! BC teachers deserve the same. Let's hope Manitoba is setting the precedent for future salary negotiations in BC. #bctf#bced @ClintJohnston7
Manitoba’s first mega-contract for public school teachers will raise general wages by more than 12 per cent and establish a standardized salary scale for 2026-27 #mbed#wfp https://t.co/DQ9H3BESor
Congratulations to Manitoba Educators - I anticipate more teaching unions will be encouraging going to arbitration when contracts are in dispute (BC is in our final year)

@AKLibraryChick We use grey wool construction socks. 😆They look super rustic and have great stretch for all those little gifts. Gifts MUST be wrapped. Also, an orange in the toe and chocolate gold coins are tradition for us! Overflowing gifts go in a “Santa Sack”.
@ksmlauzon@WINNERS@HomeSenseCanada YES to this. I cannot stand their price tags. There’s nothing like having ruined gifts because pulling the price tags off leaves adhesive residue and most of the sticker. Even tried heating with a blow dryer and they wouldn’t peel off!!!
@ExLibrisMrHunt I was surprised at how much my grade 3s already knew. They have so many big questions too. I think they can handle the truth, if comes with knowing that we can only move forward and do better if we all understand past wrongs.
We made a meaningful mess in the library today, representing features of landforms and bodies of water with loose parts. Thanks for activating our creative thinking, @ExLibrisMrHunt ! #sd33learns
