@TemplarsRoar@Asmongold This is only a hot take in some anime and online communities. In the real world, most people in America would think like asmon. You can disagree with him but it's hilarious to see people acting like he's out of his mind here.
@TheReunionVII "unethical and immoral." You have every right as a fan to ask questions, you have no right to cast aspersions without evidence or context. I mean, Max asked the director to his face about the recast and got an answer, it's perfectly fine to wonder why they would do this.
@its__roman@RazorMiddleYT I'm a lifelong pokemon fan, and also I really enjoy palworld. Palworld fans do like to pretend that there aren't things lifted from pokemon, but pokemon fans never played the game and don't realize that the only pokemon game similar to Palworld is ZA. How interesting.
@Tectone No offense man but did anybody say these two look the same? Minor is a range of anything below 18, not pre teen and above....That said i think it's plausible that she looks like an adult in korea but she absolutely could pass as a young girl below 17.
@chibirobo12 I've been a pokemon fan for decades, and I still. I'm extremely hyped for the next gen. But i'm also not a moron and i know that theyve had a rough patch here and there since Sw/Sh. I've also put MANY hours into palworld and it hasnt felt like a pokemon clone for even a moment
@DigitalAlucard@maximilian_@Asmongold@AngryJoeShow@CohhCarnage You're upset that they are judging her looks based on most likely American minors, not south korean women. A culture none of them are part of. Thats not a stupid take, it's ignorant at best and i've seen it so much at this point that its not even a hot take.
@Silentolls@Tectone Did you even watch the clip you shared. He doesn’t say she’s a child, he says she’s on the edge of looking kinda young and he’s not a fan of that.
@IamR0galD0rn I mean, he's correct when it comes to self preservation. The guy basically had to flee the country over this, so there was a point where he legally put himself into jeopardy. However, it was his choice and had he done any less we would not be seeing these results.
@Breakfast_333 I think its probably a thing that you would have a hard time conceptualizing until you realize there are whole communities of it out there and it has a name lol. But it's probably existed in some form through all history, but the internet gave it form.
@yxmiix I think what people need to realize is that besides the fact that some fans are unshakable, there was a lot surrounding this such as Mujin apologizing for the video and people treating him like a sex predator. When they exaggerated it victimized him and created an out.
