When I started the blog in 2007, the default response to a business closing was "it will become a bank or Starbucks." The Starbucks on 2nd Ave. @ 9th St. is closing Monday (the 2nd one in the neighborhood to close this year). And 2 Capital One branches will close on May 8. 1/2
