The Islamic Republic is on the brink of collapse and is desperately trying to buy time, even with blatantly obvious lies (e.g. Araghchi saying "America is not our enemy", just a few days after burning Ameican flags during their anniversary rallies) and armies of social media bots. Why? Because this time the regime found the solution to all its problems, and it found it in North Korea. If it is given time, within a year, maybe months, they will develop Nuclear Weapons just like North Korea did in 2006 after years of fake negotiations (deja vu?). Once that happens, the regime becomes untouchable, but unlike North Korea, it's a regime situated in one of the most geopolitically and economically important locations on earth. If this regime stays, in other words, the entire world will face its safety and economic consequences for decades to come.

Q: "Why all the fake negotiations and stalling? The regime hasn't been able to develop nuclear weapons for years, what makes you think it can now?

A: Because the regime still was dependent on international markets on which it could sell its oil. That's why it tried to work on its nuclear and missile programs while keeping appearances. That is no longer the case. Having become a pariah state, unable to sell its oil (IRGC designated as terrorist organisation, its oil tankers getting confiscated, etc.), its only remaining option is to sell it through intimidation. This time the regime won't even pretend, it will employ everything it has towards building a nuclear weapon as soon as possible.

In 2022 during the Iranian uprising after Mahsa Amini's murder, 16 year old Nika Shakarami was thrown into a van by multiple IRGC thugs.

She was sexually assaulted, beaten to death, and then thrown off a building to fabricate a "suicide attempt".

Regime linked thugs later desecrated Nika's gravestone.

The islamic regime also threatened and harassed her grieving mother so badly she had to escape Iran.

According to the Progressive and Tolerant Left™, Nika's life was a worthy sacrifice because her killers are "anti-imperialist".
