@heathcummingssr I can see why you got a bit frustrated. Bowers at 1.7 is crazy. I am surprised you didn't take Burden over Tet though. I know you like both but Burden is your fella. Pitts over LaPorta is even more surprising.
@jagibbs_23 Thank you @jagibbs_23 for this... you're making me look like a genius for punting on TE and taking JJ, after being sniped multiple times.
Seriously, in that offense, he should be the #2 option and get plenty of TPG.
Just finished my first draft of the year. 12Team PPR 3 WR's 1 Flex. How'd I do?
(Sniped at TE and punted for value)
QB: Herbert, Willis
RB: Gibbs, Irving, Stevenson, Rodriguez, Monangai, E. Johnson
WR: Pickens, Olave, Burden, Reed, Concepcion, Coker
TE: J. Johnson
@JameyEisenberg Surprised seeing you take more RB's than WR's in all 3 drafts. Going with best available, value and that they're 2 WR leagues, over your traditional preference of taking more WR's?
@JameyEisenberg Lloyd may not hit, but those 4 RB backups are fire... talk about getting the 4 best you could. Guessing he went ASRB, Javonte, Olave, Burden, Maye with his first 5? Great start in a 14 team.
@AdamAizer I thought you were going to say...
"I'm not quite sure what to make of the Josh Jacobs situation, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night."
Derek Carr says he knew coverages before they even showed them and Jon Gruden would send him to the line of scrimmage with five plays and still cuss him out if Carr missed a defensive look they had studied three months earlier
“I always told people, you guys are crazy if you think Gruden’s ever going to get a rookie quarterback because they can’t handle what he asks them to do.”
“You’re literally going to the line of scrimmage with five plays, but if you didn’t check to the thing he told you about three months ago when you get the perfect look, he’s going to cuss you out and you’re wrong.”
“I loved that he let me use what was my superpower, which was my mind. I wasn’t 6’5”. I didn’t run a 4.3. Now, I could throw a ball wherever I wanted to. That’s a gift.”
“But my gift was my mind. I saw the coverages. I heard the calls. I knew what they were in before they’d even show it.”
“One person would be standing in that place, and I studied it on film and I knew what they were playing before. He gave me the freedom at the line to just play.”
