12+ years in NGOs & Private Sector. Optimizing business at the intersection of Mining, Structure, and Gender. Evidence that inclusion is a performance driver.
After 12+ years across NGOs and the private sector, one truth has become undeniable: Inclusion is not a "nice-to-have" or a moral checkbox—it is a mechanical necessity for sustainable growth.
I’m here to bridge the gap between social impact and industrial scale. Let’s build.
Creating a single market of 1.4 billion people is not enough.
African SMEs must be prepared to participate in it effectively.
Today, we begin an eight-week campaign highlighting how the #AfCFTA SME Booster Initiative is helping SMEs strengthen their export readiness and connect with financial institutions, #AfCFTA trading companies, business support organisations and buyers.
Over the coming weeks, we will spotlight the practical barriers businesses face, the experiences of participating SMEs and the support needed to turn market opportunities into trade.
Are you an SME or Business Support Organisation?
Follow the campaign, share your experience and tell us what would help your business trade more confidently across African borders.

The good thing about Clare Akamanzi (@cakamanzi ) the CEO of @NBA_Africa , is that when she speaks about #business, the passion gets hold of her and when she spices it with sport, it becomes an ice on the cake.
At the Africa Mindset Reset Forum, she introduced her presentation with the story of @khaman_maluach , the South Sudanese basketball player who was raised in Uganda, discovered basketball at 13 and eventually became the 10th pick in the 2025 #NBADraft. His journey is more than a sporting fairy tale. It shows what is possible when African talent is identified, nurtured and connected to opportunity.
Clare's message is that we must change how we think about sport. @Sports is not something children should pursue only after school. It teaches discipline, teamwork, resilience and leadership. And for the private sector, sports is not merely something to sponsor. It is a business ecosystem spanning media, content, hospitality, events, arenas and marketing.
Most importantly, Africa must stop exporting both its talent and the economic value that comes with it. Maluach’s journey shows the need to build the academies, leagues and infrastructure that allow more African talent to develop and prosper on the continent. Sports should therefore be treated as a strategic economic asset, not merely entertainment. @ASG_Africa

Day 2 of the Africa Mindset Reset Forum began with the @ASG_Africa Partnership Breakfast, attended by Ms Monica Geingos.
The discussion looked beyond the familiar question of how Africa identifies and trains talented young leaders. The more difficult question is what happens to them once they enter government, politics and public institutions. Many arrive with strong ideas and a real desire to contribute, only to encounter systems shaped by bureaucracy, political pressure and institutional habits that are difficult to shift.
ASG President Mr Francis Gatare spoke about the African School of Governance’s role in preparing a new generation of African leaders. But the conversation made clear that preparation cannot end with a fellowship or a convening. There has to be a clearer bridge between leadership development and the institutions in which that leadership is expected to matter.
The African Mindset Reset Forum: From Pan- Africanism to Meta-Africanism at Kigali Convention Center in Kigali. Africa has never lacked solutions but the mindset to the leadership, governance and management that develops Africa. By President, African School of Governance.
The President of African School of Governance - ASG H.E Francis Gatare thanked the Africa Mindset Reset Forum Advisory Panel as part of his speech during Official Opening in Rwanda. Our CEO Mr. Tadiwanashe Gondo is part of the inaugural Advisory Panel. #AfricaMindsetReset #SAYoF

Welcome to Kigali as #AfricaResets.
Today, we join the state press conference ahead of #MindsetReset2026 and we are not walking in alone.

When freedom feels threatened, resistance rises.
Reactance is the mind protecting dignity and choice.
Lead with respect, not control.
Guide—don’t dominate.
#GuardTheFreedomOfTheHeart#Autonomy
When people feel respected and given choice, cooperation increases.
When they feel controlled, resistance becomes motivation.
This is not just theoretical, it is a call to lead, teach, parent, and communicate in ways that empower rather than restrict.
