@darkvada2@raph_cobhams Lol trust me...
Jamb is greater than your school or any Uni you have in mind, those documents of yours means nothing to them if they mean your case and your school can't even help you when such matter arises.
@AyodeleKayodeD1@Docfrosh@Nessienaya Lol bro UNEC courses will crash your CGPA, at some point you'll be praying they mark your scripts, even BGS go see results shock.. Anatomy and Physiology did people's GP dirty
@Praiseolawoore@r_edoow @UnegbuVivi27491 @Janburji1 Please make proper research on this, Sound waves is mechanical and not electromagnetic/Radiation or particle based. You can't include Soundwaves in any classification of Radiation, it can never be radiation.
@Ihechukwudere01@iniabasibob@Rad_Munagi I'm glad you understood my point,Imaging technologists should expect more imaging modalities in the future,it doesn't end with xray,USS,MRI,you will still have other inventions in the future. By answering RADIOGRAPHER,you're admitting you identify as just Xray.U can't win legally
@iniabasibob@Rad_Munagi Technologist is not the same as technicians,you're limiting yourself by answering RADIOGRAPHER,you can choose to answer Medical imaging Scientist, since it's labcoat π₯Ό you're after. Imaging has passed just Xrays and these MDCN knows and wants full control.More modalities coming
@GH_scofield @Janburji1@MDCNOfficial I understand you, but that word Radiography was coined because of lack of advancement in medical imaging then, medical imaging has moved pass just X-rays, we have MRI and USS. The correct term is Medical imaging technologist, New Zealand and other top tier countries are on this.
@Janburji1@MDCNOfficial Yes, I'm sad our elders are yet to know that the term Radiographer is the loophole that enabled these power thirst MDCN encroach in our practice with ultrasound, Radiography uses x-rays according to the argument they brought forward and ultrasound doesn't. MRI is next, watch out
@UnegbuVivi27491 If it's the word RADIO, that's making Radiologists and MDCN to try and encroach this profession, then we will be addressed as Medical imaging technologists, that's what other top tier countries calls our noble profession..
RRBN Take note
RRBN the first approach to this is change what you call us please, the term Radiographer is now a loophole and would cause Damages in the future..
We are Medical imaging technologists, that's the right term.
Imagine a doctor prescribing dose of ionizing Radiation for brain CT examsππ
@MDCNOfficial think again πππ
Most patients will be barbecued if this happens oooππ
The concept of Radiobiology is realπ
@r_edoow @UnegbuVivi27491 @Janburji1 It's high time we adopt the name Medical imaging technologist... RRBN should look into this, they're using the name Radiographer to limit us.
