@lukecagg@_Tom_Henderson_ OK, yes if you’re going by the literal definition of ‘boycott’ sure, but there was outrage and there was backlash and we watched it unfold in real time.. 😃
@_Tom_Henderson_ $70 for Switch 1 games been a talking point since Nintendo announced Zelda Tears of the Kingdom at that price…
A lot of people boycotted for a bit… Then it went on to sell 10 million in 3 days… 🥴
@Xvault2 I think anyone who doesn’t believe that the millions of GamePass subscribers who are likely playing this game and adding to its positive word of mouth in general is just console war rage baiting for engagement… It’s a positive thing that more people can play this indie game…
Me: I’m only playing ONE game this week.
Also me: **installs The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered AND Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 at the same time**
Imagine trying to make toast and accidentally launching Halo. If my TV’s an Xbox, next is my fridge in FaZe Clan, then my toaster will start to rage quit.

@Tayetalks_@JezCorden Absolutely! There are gamers who prefer to opt in to the Xbox version of a game over other eco’s off the strength of Play Anywhere! I believe it’s one of the best features Xbox has currently! I wish it could be implemented in more games..
@Tayetalks_ I agree with the idea itself not being a bad one. I think the timing of a game like this is critical for success.. I want Microsoft to focus on established successful games launching on different consoles first, to give a reason for gamers outside of the eco to believe in them..
@Tayetalks_ I don’t believe interest in Xbox IP is as high for fighters currently. Halo is in a rebuilding stage.. Sure you will have Bethesda/Activision to take the load off, but even still most fighters aren’t selling like other genres. What is success for this game in sales? 5-10 million?
@Tayetalks_ I think the main problem would be trying to compete with Smash Bros.
I would prefer to see Xbox release an established fighter like a Killer Instinct 2 as a Day 1 multi-platform release on Nintendo/Sony/Xbox/Steam/Epic…
I don’t want an experimental fighter that could fail.
