Because, even a mild cold can trigger asthmatic attack which can complicate to pneumonia.
Protect yourself from flu by avoiding close contact with people with flu-like symptoms, if you can get the yearly flu vaccine the better.
If you don't have money to do tests or buy medication per doctors request, go back to same doctor, share your story, so he indicates what's urgent and what can be replaced (with cheaper alternative).

These symptoms may mean you are allergic to plants blooming; runny nose, coughing & sneezing, itchy nose, and/or roof of mouth, itchy throat, red/itchy/watery eyes.
Flowering plants produce pollen "seeds" which are transferred by wind to other flowers, some people when they are exposed to such pollen their immune system mistakenly identifies the harmless pollen as a dangerous intruder. The immune system begins to produce chemicals to fight against the pollen which then results in above symptoms. People with asthma are at higher risk.
N.B: Jacaranda tree does not cause such allergies. You can minimize your exposure to pollen by: avoiding outdoor activities on dry, windy days, wearing glasses. Visit hospital for treatment when symptoms are unbearable.
Just a reminder.
HIV is still real !
Yesterday, i conducted HIV tests on two of my very young patients and all came positive, especially given the fact that is was a recent infection as last year they were negative.
