Big change can come from tiny peas.
That’s why @lantmannen is building 🇸🇪 first pea protein isolate factory, backed by @EIB.
Peas produced by local farmers will be processed sustainably, ending up in the sport supplements that fuel you after a workout.
Pretty cool, isn’t it?⤵️
Don’t let their size fool you: peas are powerful.
They can help people use less animal protein, and promote more sustainable agricultural practices.
Travel with us to Lidköping Sweden to discover how Europe’s first pea protein isolate production facilities will make it happen⤵️
📚 Learning
🧸 Playing
🌟 Dreaming
This is how childhood should be spent.
Yet, nearly 138 million children are trapped in child labour — with over 60% occurring in agriculture.
On Friday's #EndChildLabour Day, @FAO is calling for urgent action to end this harmful practice.
Play creates powerful learning opportunities that help promote intellectual, social, emotional and physical development.
On Thursday’s International Day of Play and always, we must ensure every child has the opportunity to play, learn and thrive. https://t.co/HNCfH2uzkD

Where EU history was made. 🇪🇺
🕰️ The Salon de l'Horloge, Paris
On 9 May 1950, French foreign minister, Robert Schuman, walked into this ornate room at the Quai d'Orsay and read out the declaration that would change Europe forever.
That speech is why we celebrate today.
Sometimes, we might take the EU for granted.
But imagine Europe without the EU.
What if the things that quietly protect and empower us every day suddenly disappeared?
We must protect what matters to us.
This Europe Day, let's celebrate our unity.
🇪🇺 The EU is a beacon of values, rooted in peace, solidarity, freedom and respect.
This is Europe, at its best: a force for good that improves lives of communities in every corner of our Union and beyond.

Buon Primo maggio a tutti!

- Buon #25aprile 🇮🇹
25 April in Italy is a day that carries weight, pride, and responsibility.
In 1945, Italy was liberated from Nazi-fascist occupation, closing one chapter of oppression and opening another built-on democracy and resistance. The Italian Liberation Day is not just remembered; it is lived through the values it made possible.
It belongs to those who resisted, and to everyone who still chooses democracy when it is tested.
Wishing all Italians a proud and reflective Liberation Day.

Books are a centerpiece of learning and advancement.
They also have the ability to inspire and transport our minds, particularly during times of stress or difficulty.
