The Tau Eta Chapter of the Gamma Sigma Epsilon Chemistry Honor Society was installed on our campus during a ceremony last week, becoming the third of its kind in the state.

In the year 1919 at @DavidsonCollege, the Gamma Sigma Epsilon Chemistry Honor Society was founded. Since then, it has inducted 16,000 chemists nation-wide. This weekend, it celebrated its 100th birthday with the Centennial Celebration and Symposium at the place of it’s founding!

Janie Leathers and Dr. Tiger Gordon attended the 48th Biennial Convention of Gamma Sigma Epsilon. Janie is a junior chemistry major who has been accepted into the Bryant Scholars Pre-Admission Program at @Mizzou Medical School, she will be attending following graduation from CMU.
