I love this industry

A firm restricts news which is widely accepted by many, but they have no affiliates and get crucified for it

Another firm sneakily raises prices by offering a worse product that nobody wants and gets praised for it

More firms are adding DLLs or charging extra to remove them.

That is not trader-friendly.

When a trader has a $3,000 target but can only lose $1,000 in a day, they must make 3x their daily risk allowance just to pass. Then they still need to meet minimum profit days, consistency rules and payout thresholds.

Maximum drawdown already protects the firm. DLL simply reduces the trader’s runway and makes reaching payout statistically harder.
