🚨💔 2 hours ago, another victim lost $68 million by copying the wrong address from a contaminated transfer history.

I want to share this (luckily) unsuccessful, but very clever and close scam incident from yesterday 👇. Saved $20m. Hope it may also save you one day.

The scammers are so good now they generate addresses with the same starting and ending letters, which is what most people check for when doing a crypto transfer. In fact, many wallets hide the middle part of the address with "..." to make the UI look better.

The scammer then use this address to send you dust transactions so that the address is shown in your wallet. Now, if you want to send to the legitimate address, you might just pick one previous transactions in your wallet and copy the address. You might just copy the wrong one. This is what happened yesterday, to a very experienced crypto operator.

Positive ending for this one. The operator noticed the error right after the transaction, and we were able to request the USDT to be frozen in time. It will now take some process, including filing a police report, to reclaim the funds back. But at least, the funds won't leave with the scammers.

Fast reaction is key in these types of recovery.

How to take profits

Episode 1: Memecoins

Read this, it may make you rich 👇

First up, remember, everyone's strategy will be different and this is NFA and always DYOR

1. Pump fun coins or coins under $3m MC:

- I like to sell initials at 2x - 3x (With these ultra low cap coins its always useful to take profits and be risk free as fast as you can, they can and many of them will go to 0 faster then you can likely imagine)

- Then I will sell 25% of my bag at each new 2x - 3x, I like doing this because I will always have tokens to sell. This has worked the best for me and left me with the most profits.

- One thing I also like to do is wait for DEV to jeet, observe the Telegram over the next few minutes - hours, and if a good CTO seems to be forming, I would ape, HODL, and either it goes to 0 or I hit a 10x+ and sell for a 10x.

2. $3m MC - $10 MC memecoins

- I like to have 1 particular strategy for these coins that has worked out the best for me, I buy at a key level (0.618 fib or 0.786 fib, previous support/resistance, etc) and sell for an easy 3x - 5x, full stack, one clip, don't sell before that. This thought that you have to hit a 100x every trade is dumb and will likely just result in you giving back all your profits to the market and roundtripping.

- I leave a moon bag if the position value is over $3k, (10% of my position as a moonbag), and never look back. If I somehow hear of the coin again one way or another, I go back to my coin, if I'm up bigly I sell, if it's down bigly I don't sell, and just wait until I hear about it again. This is usually a strategy I like since there's no point checking hourly/daily for $300 positions. It would take too much time and stress and is probably not worth it.

3. $10m MC - $100m MC memecoins

There are mainly 2 things I like doing for these types of coins.

- First up, let's cover Cabal Coins in this MC range. Just like coins at the $3m MC - $10m MC range, I like to buy at a key level (0.618 fib, previous support/resistance, etc), then, instead of only looking at the chart, I also look at social euphoria and have that as a selling indicator. For these coins I sell my initials at around a 2x - 5x, and sell the rest when the big TG groups, big DC groups, and my whole TL start talking about them or getting euphoric about them. If you also start seeing a bunch on uPnL pics, that should be a good time to exit and never look back.

- For non Cabal Coins, if the meme seems extremely funny, new, and original with a good community I usually just ape in and diamond hand. Only taking initials at a 3x -5x or so and letting the rest ride. e.g. $NUB. Overall, you can see that its not a Cabal Coin if it does not have extreme fat LP, it was launched on pump fun, it was not a bundled launch, its not all over your timeline through paid shillfluencers, and there have been multiple CTOs and the community is making posts every few seconds. If it makes you laugh, its probably a good buy.

4. $100m MC - $500m MC memecoins

- Idk, I don't trade these to be completely honest

5. $500m MC + memecoins

- This is a bit nerdy, but I like to trade $500m MC+ memecoins using mean reversions, usually, older $500m MC+ coins are better for this as well compared to newly cabaled ones that reach this in a week or two. Just watch for some FUD on the timeline, you might see a -25% to -50% move or so in one day, and if the FUD is just FUD, and not something reasonable, wait for a bottom to form, ape with SIZE, and sell for a easy +10% - +50%, this strategy works even better with leverage if your confident (e.g. on Hyperliquid)

Once again, remember that everyone will have a different strategy and this may not be the one for everyone.
