@maharaproject "Red thread" – indeed, @maharaproject@anitsirk It has been my experience that Mahara ePortfolio technology and others facilitate connection of Ss that lead to clarification in the ideation phase of the ePortfolio journey in any discipline or level - ESL, AdultEd, Grad Studies.
@mitstek Thank you so much for your interest in my work, Dr. @mitstek - so rewarding for me as an eP pedagogy proponent. As you can see, I am also an eP Mahara technology proponent (see: @anitsirk@maharaproject) and have meaningful storytelling of Ss over the years - just lovely!
@maharaproject Feedback interaction – challenging and yet very rewarding for learners and educators throughout the ePortfolio development process supported, as I have experienced, by Mahara ePortfolio technology – great storytelling by Ss over the years!
@maharaproject Yes, my students and I have been engaging in ePortfolio community building since I was first introduced to the Mahara ePortfolio technology back in 2015 - have not looked back since. What a ride it has been - thx!
@anitsirk As you may recall, Kristina, you visited our MEd learning community in our second live seminar that semester. It was your sharing of information about the ePortfolio development process (technology/pedagogy) with the course participants that helped them most - forever thankful!
@gsiemens Collaborative sensemaking – you, Professor, provided EdD Ss tools to engage in sensemaking, guided our info gathering, helped us understand/apply new ‘knowing’ to conduct/complete our resrch. As we attempt to understand role of AI in our Knowing Knowledge, we rely on you – thx!
@maharaproject The field is undergirded by decades-old research, publications, conferences, presentations, collaboration, etc. by the Giants in the eP industry.
eP pedagogy is here to stay. Grad Ss play a key role – especially now with the a sudden awareness of educational AI - just lovely!
@kimjones2976 Congratulations, Dr. @kimjones2976! Wow – what a rich academic journey you have had in addition to your personal and professional life, eh? EdD graduate and 3MinuteThesis winner – I have admired you since we ‘met’ at AthabascaU during an event (or two). Enjoy the journey ahead!
@maharaproject@anitsirk @katevideo @UniMelb Thank you, Kristina @anitsirk! Some of your "5Cs" are visible in your list of words above (https://t.co/PaZoSerSoT). Great resource for courses underpinned by ePortfolio pedagogy – much appreciation!
@AUGSA What a wonderful opportunity for graduate/doctoral candidates/students to showcase their study findings thus far! Thank you @AUGSA and @AthabascaU for making it possible year after year - well done!
@maharaproject@MerryQuinn @ciccamy @zurhellen I am thankful to scholars like you for your contribution to the field. As human-centric pedagogical approach to teaching and learning, ePortfolio pedagogy is a thoughtful way to help educators/learners create, discover, and retain meaningful learning moments. Thank you all!
@OTESSAjournal Thank you so much, OTESSA Editors, for supporting my work - re: asynchronous conference presentation https://t.co/jnDohjasrV and journal article https://t.co/SkB9xr6cTe - very thankful for your interest!
@gsiemens Lucky you introduced my EdD cohort to AI 7yrs ago, Professor! You helped change our mindset in a scholarly way. As C.Shirky once said, a threat those of us working in colleges/universities face is that we live in institutions adapted to an environment that no longer exists. Thx!
@maharaproject@anitsirk @CatalystNZ Congratulations to you and your dedicated ePortfolio team, @anitsirk! I will take this opportunity to thank you (on behalf of the M.Ed. students who appreciated the time you spent in our session earlier this week) - as usual, you energized the group to move forward. Many thx!
@Trent_Batson re: "boring culture" - perhaps one needs to engage in ePortfolio pedagogy for self-growth and self-awareness in order to realize that fascinating things can happen even on days that may be dull, eh? @AAEEBLconnect @aacu@Trent_Batson@anitsirk Just a thought ...
@willrich45 re: "we need to relearn what it means to be human..." ain't that the question to ask, eh? How about a Research Question (RQ) for a future thesis/research study ...? Looking forward to feedback on the topic ... - thx for bringing this (important theme) forth!
