Many men are living a lonely life within their marriage

This generation of men is trying to do much more than what their father did. They’re working harder to earn more, helping with household responsibilities, and making a conscious effort to spend more time with their children.

I’m not saying this to glorify or compare them. I’m simply saying that many are genuinely trying.

Yet, many also feel that the recognition they receive within their own family has gone down. They feel reduced to a paycheck. Criticized for what they do, and criticized for what they don’t do.

Most husbands are only 3 or 4 years older than their spouse, yet they’re expected to make every major decision for the family. They haven’t seen much more of the world either, but they’re carrying enormous responsibility on their shoulders.

Speak with the men in your life.
Many of them are crumbling quietly.
Many of them are feeling deeply lonely.

I've worked my ass off to buy the car that I currently own which I bought 5 years ago (May 2021). Everytime I was between jobs with no income, ensuring the car EMI got deducted on time was the top most priority on my mind. The emotional connect that me or anyone has with their car is something you can't quantify. A small dent or scratch on it, I used to feel bad for an entire day. And today, I'm being FORCED to DESTROY my own car with my own hands due to this mindless #Ethanol blending policy of this man called #NitinGadkari. With 'Zero Ethanol' petrol hardly available in any fuel station and costing almost 170 Rs per litre wherever rarely available, I'm forced to fill my car up with this E20 Petrol and my car is literally choking and dying a slow death. I could see a major drop in mileage and AC performance ever since this Ethanol nonsense was introduced. I kept quiet for so many months hoping this nonsense would be rolled back after the whole backlash but now with E30, E85 and even E100 being introduced, I'm speechless. Even if you buy a brand new E20 compatible car today, it's already incompatible with the E30 and above fuel blends that are being forced down our throats.

I'm not an active supporter of any political party but have always been a staunch opposer and critic of the Congress. But dear @narendramodi ji, if Mr. @nitin_gadkari is not shown the door and this Ethanol nonsense is not rolled back, I already know who I'm voting for next and it's NOT the BJP.

- New AC Locals = Tender being delayed since three decades.

- Footpaths, light rail, buses? Shi, dehati demands. All these are British colonial concepts of urban-experience that we need to avoid.

BJP has no vision for the coming decade. None. At max will end up making musical flyovers / sealinks to nowhere and scream jai ho!

The authors analyze the career trajectories of top performers across multiple domains, including Nobel laureates, elite chess players, Olympic gold medalists, and more.

Their central finding challenges a common belief.

Intensive, single-discipline training at a young age does confer an early advantage, but this advantage fades over time.

By contrast, individuals exposed to multidisciplinary practice early in life tend to start more slowly. Yet, over the long run, they are more likely to reach world-class performance, eventually overtaking early specialists, who often plateau just below the very top.

An important reminder that breadth early on can be a powerful investment in long-term excellence.
