My warmest congratulations to @WHO Member States for their commitment to keeping their people and the world safer.
What a moment in global health history. Together!
Senegal has led the way in West Africa, becoming the first Gavi-supported country in the region to introduce the HPV vaccine.
As @Dribrahimasy72 at @santegouv_sn reminds us, vaccines don’t just protect against deadly diseases like cervical cancer—they help secure healthier futures for entire communities.

Ahead of #TeachToReach on 20-21 June 2024, over 18,000 health professionals from more than 80 countries have begun to share how climate change is affecting the health of their communities right now.
Why? Because our frontline insights are crucial for understanding the real-world impacts and shaping effective solutions.🌡️🌊🌪️
By sharing your experiences, challenges, and successes, you’re contributing to everyone’s knowledge to inform action.
Step 1 is to compare notes and learn from each other.📝💡
We are also asking:
Have you felt heartbroken or overwhelmed by how climate change seems to be affecting the health of your community?
Amidst the challenges, what gives you hope for the future?
How do you know that it’s climate and not something else that is impacting health?
What question do you wish we were asking about climate change and health?
Never heard of Teach to Reach?
It’s the world’s largest health peer learning event.
The last edition in October 2023 had 17,662 participants.🤝💪
Everything you share, we share back with the community so everyone can learn from it.📈🗳️
More burning questions are coming soon, so make sure you’re part of this vital global conversation!
If you wait, you will miss out on the dialogue and learning before the main event on 20-21 June 2024.
