Thanks @PetaIndia for intervening. Animals are not props. They shouldn't have to suffer for some cheap entertainment. This isn't content, its cruelty. Please free him. #BiggBoss18 #BiggBossAbusesAnimals

🚨 BREAKING! PETA wrote a letter to Salman Khan to convince the makers to stop using Animals in #BiggBoss18

PETA also request Salman to encourage Advocate Gunaratna Sadavarte, who has reportedly brought Max into the house, to surrender the donkey to PETA India to rehome in a sanctuary with other rescued donkeys.

In letter it's further mentioned that “It is reported Advocate Sadavarte keeps the donkey for research regarding milk. But donkeys produce milk strictly for their foals.”

The letter mentioned that it would not only “prevent stress to the animals and upset to viewers” but also “set a powerful precedent”.

Its heart wrenching to see a donkey being abused on the show. Chaining and stressing an animal for entertainment is unacceptable. This isn't content, it's cruelty. Do better @BiggBoss @ColorsTV

Please help @Manekagandhibjp @PetaIndia

A donkey has been held captive by the makers of @BiggBoss . @PetaIndia please take note and intervene to release the donkey from the illegal confinement by the makers. @Manekagandhibjp #Biggboss18

[hunny Chaudhary @chaudhary_huny]

should this actually acceptable ?

I have seen absolutely no one point out, but genuinely why a donkey in the necessary?
He stays tied there in a corner making noises and screaming, isn’t this animal cruelty ?

[GangstaClaus @GangstaClaus07]

Why have the makers of #Biggboss18 confined this poor donkey to a small space all alone? Who knows what they are doing for him to cry out like that. Makers please get him out. This is animal cruelty. He is an animal, not a prop.
