@lulu70191243 问我看到这个新闻是什么反应，我的第一反应是：Monad 还有梦想。

我进入 Crypto 的起点是从 OKX 往 Binance 转了一笔钱，基本秒到。那时候我还在用 Tron，体验之流畅让我震惊。因为我同时在给一个海外账户转美元，流程极其繁琐：要填一堆我看不懂的字段，比如 SWIFT 码，生怕写错。转出去之后几天到一周都没消息，也没法查询进度。

于是我开始琢磨：区块链转账和银行转账到底有什么本质不同？为什么支付宝不能直接转给 PayPal？那段时间我查了很多跨境转账、open banking 的资料，甚至看了 Visa 的历史。

其实答案很简单：区块链是从 Day 1 就共享全局状态的系统，而传统金融是在一个个中心化孤岛之间做集成，本质上效率低得多。Visa 当年构建银行间开放联盟的设想，其实和区块链的理想不谋而合。

所以对我来说，区块链一直是生产力的进步。当年大家还觉得“用区块链转账多此一举”，今天终于没人再说这种话了，心里挺开心的。

我也在想：为什么稳定币转账的普及没有早 4 年、6 年发生？其实技术早就具备了，我觉得还是 timing 的问题。直到今天，Crypto 的基础设施才真的做到低成本， 上个周期我还在为挖矿精算 gas 成本，这个周期已经可以闭着眼睛用链上产品了。

过去几个周期，主流用户还是极度 crypto native 的群体，讲的是“圈内叙事”。而现在，btc 普及度大幅提升，web2 的朋友开始主动来问我稳定币的事，用户画像已经彻底改变。

不过这个周期我也感受到：行业没什么梦想了。可能是因为过去的梦想太多，破碎得也太多，导致现在大家都变得短视。

我想起 2018 年潘乱那篇《腾讯没有梦想》，说腾讯一度“刀枪入库，马放南山”，好像移动互联网已至终局，腾讯靠投资声名远扬，产品却没了方向。结果字节跳动杀了出来。

7 年过去，中国科技行业，梦想在不同圈子里来回流转：短视频、社交、新消费、生鲜电商、Crypto、大模型……我不知道 TikTok 腹背受敌、一鸣不再参加 CEO 面对面的字节跳动是否还有梦想，但我还是喜欢那个有梦想的时代。

Polymarket 是个 4 年前就上线的产品，过去几年总共才发了几百个市场，而今年已经发了 1000+ 个市场。4 年前看预测市场，有一万个理由看衰，今年再看预测市场，有一万个理由看好，说明 PMF 一直都在，只是需要一个契机和一群相信梦想的人。

所以看到这个收购，我第一反应是：Monad 还有梦想，还在追真正的 use case，还在做别人觉得“大局已定”的事。

收购 Portal 并让 founder 来负责稳定币，就是一个信号：founder 是最理解行业、最愿意挑战的那群人。字节跳动最厉害的一点，也是喜欢收购 startup 然后让 founder 上一线。

希望几年后，行业新的 consumer 场景层出不穷，行业可以再次有梦想。
