@effexorbb@grumpy_asiandad@RoulletteTravis @dem0nslayer7 @ScottAdamsSays so the way that shakes out is a smaller portion of white/asian students make the cut and a larger portion of black/hispanic students make the cut with a lower difficulty. one would assume a highly educated individual like yourself would be able to decode the nuance a bit better.
@effexorbb@grumpy_asiandad@RoulletteTravis @dem0nslayer7 @ScottAdamsSays it's not discrimination so much as it's different standards for different groups. Harvard got sued for it, white and asian (the primary litigants) students have an SAT/ACT requirement that's roughly 30% higher than black or hispanic students. The requirements are lower for entry.
@BrandiKruse My second grader reported she had a they/them in her class. It's not just the teachers doing this to kids, but we damn sure need some common sense in WA education.
@Dlus@BrandiKruse Turn off the faucet if you want to start bailing water out of your basement. They (elected officials) need to get used to a far smaller budget, and work within that, rather than squeezing the taxpayer even harder.
@Dlus@BrandiKruse The answer is in the middle, unfortunately the rank and file democrats are so far off the reservation that the actual middle for reasonable people seems far more right than it ought to. Their spending is out of control BECAUSE they've been able to put all these taxes in place.
