@LonelyGoomba It doesn't matter how much the animation community say that animation isn't just for kids and that it is a medium, if the community still acts very childish towards stories with complex subjects we can not advance and it'll still get regarded as a medium for kids.
@LonelyGoomba@HydroGecko I guess they took too seriously that some people complaint that the original English dub was way sillier than the japanese one and they thought "Okay, let's make them sound serious" and it ended with these very dry deliveries.
I personally still use he/him for her mostly because, like someone mentioned, he never acted on his feelings and I feel it is not up to us to make him come out, even his real life counter part is not quite there yet.
