Why would any business hire a grub like this? The Garbos name is Daniel Thomas who was fired last year for serious misconduct. And the FWC awards HIM $6k compensation.

You read this and ask yourself what does a business have to do to remove a person like this? This man distributed porn, got done for speeding more than once. Texted whilst driving and posted it taunting this small business. The Commissioner agreed with everything that was said even stating the behaviour wasn’t acceptable.

The company issued him a letter of warning prior to sacking him. This grub said he didn’t receive it, the commissioner believed him.

But then you read the history of the Labor appointed commissioner.

Oanh Thi Tran was appointed to the FWC on is a Commissioner of the Fair Work Commission in 2023. Prior to Oanh was Principal Solicitor at the Young Workers Centre, legal and Industrial Officer at TCFUA and CFMMEU.
