This is exactly what's happening. Government failed to prepare NHS and introduced counterproductive policies which have negatively impacted the running and IPC of hospitals and care homes.

How many flu deaths? How many pneumonia deaths? Flu has miraculously disappeared.... Or just been misattributed to covid.

@TonyHales13 @Stat_O_Guy It is horrific. Now with excess PPE, hand hygiene is a low priority and it is known to be the major factor in infection prevention and control... And so more people are contracting in hospitals and care homes. Masks, aprons, visors, shields, the lot needs to go....
