@agent_malone @RottenInDenmark This is not true, although it’s a common trope. King County surveyed homeless people last year as apart of the annual one night count, and the vast majority reported that their last permanent address was within the county.

Note that the mayor’s order doesn’t say anything specific about journalists not being allowed to broadcast. And the Chief herself stopped and talked to Omari earlier today. It doesn’t make me feel any safer if they were all by outsiders.I don’t want people getting shot. I certainly don’t feel safe knowing my neighborhood is a target of extremists.
