#Seattle area #USA on the same day. Even on a quiet, drizzly, cool morning the Cedar River Watershed, run by @SeattleSPU, is impressive, as is the sun setting over the Olympic Mountains (even as highway noise fills the air). Spring is coming. #photography
Fun Fact: In the 15 minutes after the Super Bowl halftime show, Seattle’s water demand jumped by 6,477 gallons per minute.
That could equal about 60,722 toilet flushes, meaning 7.8% of Seattle may have flushed during that time (and hopefully washed hands, too)! 🚽 💧
Fun Fact: the Utility, our contracted partners, and @seattledot crews collected over 10,000 pounds of garbage and five large pieces of furniture during the post-parade cleanup after the Seahawks celebration!
