@forduk Our Mustang Mach e with less than 10000 miles on it and barely a year old had to be retrieved by the dealer after filling the cabin with thick black smoke!!! Haven’t had the car for > 3 mnths yet u are charging us the full lease price!! Phoned/emailed repeatedly as yet no redress
@RavikanthChavan @GHS@WHO@DrTedros He should face a court of law. Many have died and many more will because of his inaction in January.

@stuartberry09@whippletom And also need to raise the red line.
Remember: normally those ICU beds are full of the usual cases! Pneumonia, heart attack, drug overdose, brain haemhorrage etc. Those mostly won’t go away.
@whippletom No matter when measures are relaxed, without huge administration of an effective vaccine numbers resurge. We must use the time we buy: retrain nurses/docs in critical care, large scale manufacture of vents, equipment, PPE. Research Drugs/Tests etc
@wtgowers @MarinaLogares Also the actual mass production of a new vaccine once it is developed, tested safe and known to be effective is not an easy process.
Imagine a truck coming to a dangerously steep hill. We know we’ll have to brake. Who would let the truck speed up and up to save the bakes for when they need them???
Let’s slow right down as we approach the hill and coast down safely using a controlled release...
Here is a conclusion that seems utterly obvious: if it is inevitable that at some point a lockdown will be necessary, then DO IT NOW. Why? For the simple reason that every two or three days, the number of cases doubles. This has two effects. 1/
Have to agree with this. I understand this is not going away - but isn’t it best to take control straight away with drastic measures, then slowly release them???

#uselessDUP@duponline will have an even bigger vote haemhorrage at the next election after this. It will be clear who is to blame for the excess mortality and it’s knock on effects on society, businesses, economy, but most importantly PEOPLE
