Proud to still be in the cabinet continuing the work of making sure Redbridge continues to be a great place to grow up in.
Also proud to be tall enough to be at the back of the photo.
Grateful to colleagues for confirming me as leader of the council at annual council. We have a strong mandate & an energised administration ready to serve all of Redbridge.
Thank you @DuddridgeLloyd@jyotsnaislam for their kind words in proposing me.
& we’ve Mayor @jonesbert!
Our drain clearing teams are out and about across Redbridge. This helps to prevent / alleviate flash floods. If you’ve noticed a problematic drain, let us know.
We’re getting on with the things that matter to our neighbours.
Wes was bang on. We, our children, and our children's children will all be poorer by being outside of the EU, financially, diplomatically, culturally, politically and defensively. It was a mistake, but a mistake that we dont have to live with.
In his first Leader's update since the local elections @KamRai7 says what a huge honour it is to have been endorsed by neighbours across Redbridge, and how "together, we will make our borough an even better place to grow up and to grow old."

Heartbroken by this result. A huge loss. Khayer is exactly the kind of dedicated, passionate councillor our communities need.
His work in Redbridge has been immense. A huge loss for residents.
Head held high, Khayer. You will be back!
Shortly before midnight, the results for Valentines ward were declared.
Unfortunately, I lost by just over 70 votes and will no longer be serving as your councillor.
Serving you all and delivering real change for this borough has been the privilege of a lifetime.
Many newly-elected councillors will have a shock in this week's member induction sessions when they get onto the slides titled "Statutory Services" and "Temporary Accommodation Overspend".
No amount of singing or flags will mitigate the realities of those slides.
Good luck!
