Busy morning helping to run the Garfield Park Community day. Super well attended Nature Walk led by @MarkBravery @davidelement1 and others, with @MayorOfMerton joining in. Then a productive litter pick and now Bubbleologist and consulting on ideas for the kick about area

It had something for everyone! Nature walk, Litter Picking, Bubble show & Bird mask decorating.

It was also good hearing what the neighbours would like to see done in the multi-use games area.

Our exquisite wildlife mural in #GarfieldRec is finally finished (including being varnished/sealed). Big thanks to @RicardsTweets art teachers and students for their hard work and to @Merton_Council for the funding. This is an inspiring asset for our community.

Free bubble show in #GarfieldRec next Sunday, 12 September, 1pm. Part of our Park Community Day and the #WandleFortnight @WandleForum

In early March this year contractors for Merton Council cleared bramble scrub and willow trees to open up the area behind the ponds on Wandle Meadow. The first picture was taken just after completion of that work, the second six months later. @GarfieldWandle
