Imagine for a moment you studied to become a doctor.

You went through 6-7 years of gruelling study, to 'make it'.

You begin to work your way up in the profession and now earn $200k, which requires you to work 80 hours per week.

You look around at your options to buy a house and quickly realise you can't afford more than an absolute shitbox.

So you reassess.

Why am I working 80 hours?

Why am I paying 45% of each extra dollar to the government?

Why can't I even find a nice rental?

Why do I live here?

If you don't think most young high income earners are asking themselves these questions, you really don't understand human psychology.

Without major changes, the path we are on as a country leads to certain ruin.

It is farsical to thing young competent people are going to keep playing this game boomers made up.

The game is rigged.

You cannot outwork an exponentially debasing currency, because your time is finite.

When faced with a rigged game you have two options:

1) Create a new game. I.e. leave, or buy Bitcoin, or both.
2) Exploit the living daylights out of the existing game. I.e. extract every loop hole you can, and then also leave.

There are consequences for dumb policy decisions, and they are often felt all at once after decades of horrendous parasitical exploitation.
