The AI question in financial services has moved from which model to use to where that model is allowed to run.

New post with @TangriKunal and @huggingface on why firms want to run models on their own infrastructure, and how governance gets them approved to run there.

@DeutscheBank has deployed Farsight on-premise across Investment Banking and Capital Markets teams in Europe and the Americas.

For regulated firms, moving AI into specialized workflows depends on access to data, much of which is sensitive.

"Farsight gives our teams a way to apply AI to their own workflows and materials while operating within Deutsche Bank's technology environment. That combination of control and customization is critical to making AI work in a global, regulated enterprise like Deutsche Bank."

Great to have @vicsingh on stage at Bits & Pretzels in Munich this week to talk about AI for VCs: Building the Data-Driven Firm.

Vic brings a unique dual perspective to the conversation. As a GP at RRE and founder of @OriginalisAI, he sits at the intersection of investing and building, with a firsthand view of how venture firms are adopting AI today and what an AI-native investment firm could look like in the future. Check out their manifesto linked below to learn more about what the team is building. #VentureCapital #Bits26

Today we are sharing our worldview, From Scarcity to Ambience, by General Partner @vicsingh. Every foundational technology travels the same arc: wheat, steel, electricity, the Internet, and now intelligence.

For more than 30 years, RRE has invested across three eras: information, computation, and intelligence. The common thread has never been a single sector. It has been a culture of exploration. The greatest companies are rarely built once abundance arrives. They are built during the journey: distributing what was scarce, restructuring the major sectors around it, and enabling entirely new economic domains.

My friend at an early-stage, legal tech start-up in NYC is hiring. Multiple of the largest law firms in the country signed up, insane cap table building something actually novel. If you are or know a FS engineer excited to work on something at the forefront of AI and law- shoot me a dm!

NYC based is a hard requirement (sorry SF friends).
