Bowling Green Junior High held the first ever Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Celebration on Monday.
Presentations included demonstrations of the Chinese instrument the Erhu, and Tai Ji Sword, and student groups performing Zomi, and Pohnpeian traditional dances.
@daniezaw The infographic is great. I think SB 63 sends a positive message that everyone, regardless of their hair type or style, deserves to be treated with respect and dignity.
@MartinPigram Great infographic! I believe this bill is evidence based, so it absolutely needs to be supported and pursued. Hairstyle features should be displayed as a form of confidence and not grounds for discrimination.
@beautiful_bryy At the heart of maintaining social justice is the freedom of voice for all. I strongly agree with you that this act of suppressing free speech goes against the values โโof the American judiciary.
@TerryStasuik I have also paid attention to this bill. As you said, it is very important from the perspective of respecting human dignity and worth. Medical insurance needs more reforms to provide more services, rather than becoming another means of exploiting individuals.
@CB70050440 This is a great bill because it focuses on the basic needs of vulnerable groups. The decline in physical function of the aging affects their demand for food safety, which can be changed by providing more social support.
@TerryStasuik Every number in your infographic shocked me, and it is even harder to imagine what kind of life pressure each individual and family behind these numbers is enduring.
@CarolMc012 Very insightful point of view! Health care should be regarded as a basic human right. If it is placed in market rules, it is very inconsistent with the values โโof social workers.
@CB70050440 Crystal, We picked the same bill! I think chronic pain creates more mental and physical torment for many people. If they can't get financial support, it will definitely add more pressure. I like the article you attached to the post.
@TerryStasuik I had an ER experience a month ago and we didn't get any service until we waited 4 hours. It makes no sense. I support this bill because the reality tells me that we are lacking in workforce in the healthcare system.
@TerryStasuik Most of the support children can get comes from parents and other people they know well. If there is a problem with these people, it will cause great harm to the children. Therefore, clearer legal norms are particularly important.
@HannahWestWKUSW@DuvallforKY The data on the percentage of victims astounds me. The source of support for most people is family, but IPV victims lose this support and they need more support from society.
@BrittSpoon@KYHarperAngel Diverting money from the death penalty to areas like crime prevention and mental health treatment can better address the root causes of the problem. I think frequent and high-intensity punishment is not what people want to see, nor is it what a healthy society should look like.
