I'm a son, husband, Dad, Grandpa, academic emergency physician, triathlete and racing cyclist. But we are under threat. Read "1984" and apply it to now!
@ArtCandee A win by 1.5% is no landslide. You failed to get 50% of the votes cast. You are a bombastic, arrogant and infantile liar who is the malicious product of your daddy and Roy Cohn. And those are your GOOD points. The awful, I left off out of politeness. Слава Україні
@gionninanni@DrLizaMD To go without a measles vaccine would be like letting your children cross a neighborhood street blindfolded with ear plugs. Sure ,many would still cross safely, yet FULLY avoidable deaths and injuries would also ensue to a few. VACCINES SAVE LIVES!
@ERGoddessMD …new ideas and abilities. You are surely “seasoned” enough to be able to function well in a limited resource rural environment with the most uniformly thankful patients anywhere except perhaps at a VA hospital. Email me if you wish to learn more. [email protected]
@ERGoddessMD …(continuing) and left full-time academic EM in 2021. A friend heard I had retired and said something to the effect of “get off the bench and back in the game”. I work about 5 12-hr shifts a month to keep my skills. It benefits me to be part of a team & I bring new ideas (more)
@ERGoddessMD Dear Sandra: I recently read your touching “Filling an Empty Nest-Not with Work!” I feel badly for you, you did not write that column from a “good place”. I wonder if you might benefit from a “change of scenery”, a rural ED not far from Richmond, perhaps. I am 67 (more)…
@Graver25 @DirtRoadPickup Your favored candidate violated his oath of office & fomented an attempted coup d’état in the broad light of day on 1/6/21. He lost the popular vote by >7 million and lost the electoral vote, too. No other President has refused to accept the verdict of the electorate.
Joelle, I enjoyed your March 2024 column in EMN. Keep that “attitude of gratitude”! Spoken/written by a true “problem solver” whose world is “only half empty”, and not “only half full”. After I temporarily retired, I got “back in the game”; I value being on a “great team”!
Edwin: I enjoyed your Emergency Med News story in March, “Don’t Lose Sight of What’s Important” As good as your long prior “Groupthink” piece! (no need to reply)
@joelleborhart Hello. Tweeting to give you props for your hilarious “First Person” I just read in the May 2023 EM News. You do sarcasm well! Carry on (in your ample free time, ha ha). Your “gallows humor” made me smile
@1a The idea that “self-driving” technology must operate error-free is an impossible standard. Perfection is impossible. The goal should be a tool that outperforms human drivers. The >40,000 USA 2022 traffic deaths represent numerous human errors.
@ILoveMyDogs2023 @TheBobMoser@GregAbbott_TX I agree. Like for instance when your TX power grid failed during that cold snap a few years back, while the rest of us didn’t have to freeze because our states hung together and worked cooperatively. Go ahead. You can have your “independence”…AND the consequences
