After 7 wonderful years, @stephhoughton2 is stepping down as one of our ambassadors.
While Steph’s role as ambassador may be coming to an end, her continued belief in the importance of sport in shaping young lives is clear. We’re grateful for the time and energy she has given to our charity, and for the positive example she sets for young people everywhere.
Her passion for the game and commitment to advocating for equal opportunities in sport has shone through in her support for Coach Core and in her broader contributions to the growth of women’s football.
She has been a role model for girls and young women around the country, but also for our apprentices specifically. She has taken time to get to know our apprentices and share with them what she’s learned over the years about coaching and growing the next generation of players, whether they be recreational or elite.
As she transitions into her next chapter, including work as a respected pundit, Steph remains dedicated to the causes she cares about.
Thank you, Steph, for your support and for being part of the Coach Core story. We look forward to seeing what comes next in your incredible journey.

We have an exciting project coming up! We're launching the Employer Research Project 📈
Aligned to our strategic ambitions to amplify the voice of our employers and apprentices, we are commissioning a project to further investigate these challenges. We hope that this will allow us to develop recommendations to improve our current provision, whilst also presenting these findings to Government and other stakeholders, with the aim of influencing apprenticeship policy.
We will be exploring the question: 'How does the current apprenticeship system support or hinder smaller employers' efforts to recruit and retain young apprentices, especially those with additional learning and support needs?'

What a brilliant day launching #Project1500 and celebrating 1000 apprentices that our Foundation has supported.
We heard from apprentices from the very beginning like Aklas, all the way through to Rochelle who is a current apprentice wth us. We were also joined by @chrissyohuruogu who gave a wonderfully motivating speech about progressing this legacy and getting more young people into employment.
