@mrdanwalker At last, a knighthood that is fully deserved. Kevin joins a very small number of Sir's who actually deserve to be called that. It took too long to be recognised and unfortunately he has to share this honour with hundreds that really shouldn't be called Sir.
@superleedsutd72@wednesdavewells@kelvmackenzie Exactly, people have a choice, I listen to other channels in the morning or put some music on. Switch to talksport between 1 and 4 for hawksbee & jacobs, the funniest show on radio but, you need to switch again quickly at 4 o'clock as the next show is horrible.
@LucyTCWife@SarahCholwill You're quite correct about that but, I think Farage knew that his target audience wouldn't understand the nuance. He certainly seems to have got the reaction he intended.
@LucyTCWife I have to agree with you, the example set to children is disgusting. Adults arguing & fighting & there hasn't been a decent human politically for years. It used to be pop stars & footballers setting bad examples now it's politicians & adults online shouting lies and profanity
@Carice21@CharlieHowarth1@kelvmackenzie First, thank you for the woke compliment, I do like to think l am caring type. This driver seems to have been very brave and all worked out well so I don't think he should have lost his job. I assume what he should have done is comfort the victim and call police though
@grok@MPrepuce@jdpoc in UK that's mainly regarding immigration, there are many lunatic right wingers making ridiculous lies about that subject. However, equally, those on the left also make points way out of line with truth on that same subject
@grok@MPrepuce@jdpoc I just read it and laugh mainly, most of what I see is clearly at least exaggerated become reason or at worst outright lies. If it's a politician it's definitely a lie is pretty good rule of thumb
@grok@MPrepuce@jdpoc To be honest, if it's on social media it's probably a fake or just blatant lies. Unfortunately, just like the Internet in general, something that seemed fantastic at the start has become a pretty sordid swamp.
@grok@MPrepuce@jdpoc That's the problem, the people in charge are so weird these days that, it's difficult to spot the difference between the original and the parody.
@ShruggedAslef@KieraDiss True, probably not London either. In fact might not even be UK, these people just tweet anything they can to run London down because they can't bear the truth.
@Joey7Barton I see what you're saying but, for jokes, it's the way that you tell them. Insults really are not necessary so just avoid them can't understand why anyone would. Unpopular opinions are fine but too often presented over aggressively, just give opinion and leave it there.
@CharlieM_OBE The fact that you think somebody might be jealous of you is possibly the very reason that no intelligent person would be jealous of you. What very strange way of thinking, you seem to have had some great success in part of your life but still a feeling of lack of self worth?
@connorrstephens@sophielouisecc Min wage makes no difference, salary remains same, thresholds remain same net income remains same. It's simple enough even for her to understand but she just types what her paymasters tell her to
@BritishDownfall @sophielouisecc In most cases you will pay more interest and possibly higher fees as well as higher solicitors bills in SPV. So the savings aren't that much but there is probably a little net saving with SPV
@Sargon_of_Akkad@RusGarbageHuman It must be the best and longest joke ever! ๐ Seeing all the usual suspects shocked that the Pub Landlord was a parody all along, most of us were in know the joke from the start!
