On September 11, 2001 he was on board Flight 93.

He was instrumental in regaining control of the plane from the highjackers.

Todd managed to make a phone call to a 911 operator while on board the plane.

Todd and his wife Lisa had two sons.
Lisa was 5 months pregnant with their third child, a baby girl.

He told the 911 operator to tell his family "I Love You"
