@amazon thank you for ordering me a replacement Twisty Petz. Alas, it still arrived as free-flowing boric acid.
I can confirm my child still does not want to play with granular boric acid.
@OdysseyJurassic When they first pitched it, I truly thought it was a heavily themed regular hotel that had some interactive features that linked to the magic band technology and optional on-site activities. Boy was I wrong.
@TheLeisureProf I would also argue how often you visit shapes your opinion of the park. If I go every 2 years, I’m going to prioritize every other park. If I’m local, I would visit it much more often.
@DisTwitrPodcast I think it will stick around as long as Liberty Square does. Which I honestly think that whole part of the park as we currently know it is on life support. I do appreciate hanging out in the lobby whenever I have a baby with me though. I never go in….just hang out 😂
Appointments, extracurriculars, carpools, social activities, memory making, housekeeping chores, meal planning and prep, plus everything any individual is responsible for for themselves. Multiply by number of children. It’s not just snacks and water. 🤦🏻♀️
Much of the “mental load” mothers have is due to coddling their children. “Better pack everything!” Or else what? The kids won’t die if they don’t have immediate access to bottled water and snacks. It’s not a big deal. My goodness.
feeling anxious at a social event. gonna pick at my cuticles. surely i will not rip off too much skin, thus causing me to awkwardly hold a blood-soaked tissue to my thumb for the remainder of the event. surely i have learned my lesson by now.
