FUFN really DESERVED more FLOWERS this is pop perfection at its finest. I love how creative she is not just with the records themselves but the music videos as well. JADE is a talented ICON who shouldn't be slept on!!
Yeah this is gonna be one of my favorite superhero comics of all time I can tell already
Inspiring and stressful in a way few superhero books, feel good stuff done right
Hopeless and Rodriguez both do so good in using both their crafts to explore motherhood and hero life
it’s time to talk about how JADE actually created one of the best love songs ever “Silent Disco” is a MASTERPIECE from the production, lyrics & ofc her VOCALS & the visualiser with her BF Jordan is the cutest 😭👏
Golden Plec gives JADE’s “dazzling” debut solo tour 4/5 stars for “perfectly blending the polished professionalism of her Little Mix days with her bold, theatrical new persona” – adding, “with this level of quality, it’s hard to see how she won’t be gracing arenas next”:
“Glitz, glorious vocals and pure star quality — it was all there as JADE kicked off her ‘THAT’S SHOWBIZ BABY!’ tour at Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre.
The former Little Mix star delivered a dazzling display that firmly positioned her among pop’s leading ladies.
Opening with ‘FUFN (Fuck You For Now)’, JADE’s confident performance turned heartbreak into empowerment, the crowd singing every word with joy rather than sorrow.
Tracks like ‘Headache’, ‘Before You Break My Heart’, ‘Unconditional’ and ‘Fantasy’ transformed the theatre into a full-blown disco; the standout moment coming with ‘Before You Break My Heart’, which features a nostalgic sample of young JADE singing The Supremes’ ‘Stop! In the Name of Love’, earning the audience’s full attention.
The club hits continued with ‘Self Saboteur’, ‘Lip Service’ and ‘Plastic Box’, along with a smooth medley of ‘Glitch’ and ‘Frozen’ before an epic costume change. ‘Natural at Disaster’ slowed the tempo, providing a welcome contrast to the rest of the show. JADE emerged for the stunning performance in a red, theatre curtain–inspired dress that perfectly suited the showbiz theme.
Momentum built again with ‘Midnight Cowboy’, followed by Little Mix fan favourite ‘Wasabi’, which sent the crowd wild. ‘gossip’ and ‘IT girl’ euphorically wrapped up the main set, with the latter inviting everyone to dance.
The show was stolen by ‘Silent Disco’, an exceptional vocal showcase performed from the theatre balcony. As soft disco lights covered the main stage, the crowd watched in awe at her pristine range and the emotion of a tender tribute to her long-term partner, Jordan Stephens.
Finally, ‘Angel of My Dreams’ brought the night to a close, with the 1,240-strong crowd chanting every lyric of the defiant takedown of the music industry and its head honchos, such as Simon Cowell.
JADE’s debut tour perfectly blended the polished professionalism of her Little Mix days with her bold, theatrical new persona.
Her witty personality shone through in many intimate in-between moments, showcasing her connection with a crowd that never left the palm of her hand.
The production made the most of the intimate venue, making it impossible not to imagine how incredible the show would be on an arena stage. With this level of quality, it’s equally hard to see how she won’t be gracing those stages next.”
