In your submission to URSB you indicated that you migrated to Rwanda, worked and at the time of migrating to Canada you were carrying a Rwandese passport and National ID. Your own submission. @DaudiKabanda This gentleman declared before the press that he a Munyarwanda but not a Rwandese citizen. He carries a Rwandan passport that he refuses to declare and want us to trust him with our Internal Affairs!

Mr. Muganga Lawrence was not rejected by the committee for being a Munyarwanda, a narrative i see some people so deceptively selling. We have other leaders who are banyarwanda who were approved & have been approved in the past. Hon . Aisha Ssekindi and Dianah Mutasingwa were approved yet they are Banyarwanda but Ugandan citizens.

Muganga was not approved after he denied holding a Rwandan passport, but the Committee investigations confirmed he holds 3 passports: Ugandan, Canadian and Rwandan. Why was he denying it? Therefore, the claim that he was rejected because of being a munyarwanda is totally false, misleading & dangerous.

🚨UPDATE: On 25/03/2026 marked 4yrs since Anita Among was elected as Speaker of Parliament after the mysterious death of Rt.Hon.Jacob Oulanya.

In these 4years, Speaker Anita Among has a dedicated office budget of 15.6 billion Shillings. This figure often includes allocations for travel expenses which for the office are approximately 6.6 billion Shillings for inland and overseas trips as well as donations, per diem, and administrative expenses.

●Office Budget: ~15.6 billion Shillings.

●Travel Budget: ~6.6 billion Shillings.

●Per Diem: $1,250 per night (approx. Shs 4.5m) for travel abroad.

●Perks: Includes a chauffeur-driven car (often a luxury vehicle), security, and a, according to Monitor News, a high-valued vehicles.

Actually those who visits the speaker's house says that the vehicles in her parking have an estimated value of UGX 10Billion.

In 2022, Speaker Anita Among gifted a brand new latest Range Rover to hubby Moses Magogo was UGX 600Million.

NB: These are just expenses on vehicles the woman is not stealing but looting on industrial scale

UPDATE: The Anti-Pornography Committee has warned that it may close entertainment venues accused of promoting pornographic acts. It is also considering banning several musicians over alleged indecent dressing and conduct. Speaking at the Media Centre, the committee chairperson, Dr Annette Kezaabu, said earlier warnings were ignored, prompting stricter action.

This morning, I joined Parliament’s Appointments Committee chaired by @AnitahAmong as we sat to vet Hon. Justice Dr. Flavian Zeija, who has been recommended by His Excellency the President to serve as the next Chief Justice. The Appointments Committee will submit its recommendations to the President for a final decision. Congratulations, Justice Zeija on catching the eye of the appointing authority.
