had a weird experience at a rave the other day where three guys tried really hard to get me to go somewhere alone with them and i think i ‘should’ have felt shocked or afraid or something but i just felt numb to it. like these were three evil dumbasses i just happened to find

My friend & I played this once w a sad lawyer in a bar & it was nuts
Early in our relationship, Cam brought a present to date night.
An envelope full of $20 bills.
"I want you to give these away when you feel called."
I had SO much money scarcity back then. Even though I was making six figures at Meta, investing every month, totally fine financially… the thought of giving away a $20 bill caused tension in my body.
But Cam would go to the bank and come back with envelopes: "Here's your money for the month. Give these as tips to people who deserve them."
Two years later, that practice completely changed my relationship with money.
I went from fear to abundance because someone made me prove to myself: we're good. We're so good we're giving it away.
If you're stuck because of money fear, try the opposite. Be radically generous with what you have.
Watch what happens.
I JUST HEARD SOMEONE SAY, “MAYBE YOU DON’T NEED MORE TIME TO HEAL, MAYBE YOU NEED MORE EXPERIENCES THAT SHOW YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM A DIFFERENT REALITY,” AND YEAH… IT ECHOED IN ME
When i was 22 I went on a date and after about an hour and a half I got the sense that we weren’t a match.
But the guy reminded me of my friend, so I told him and asked if I could introduce him to her.
He said yes, they hit it off instantly, and they got married a few years later.
Be generous. Hook your friends up.
They may not be right for you, but they’re right for someone else.
My mom goes to elderly university for free in China. It is probably the best thing they have done for elderly. She likes it so much. You can take any subject you like, no exam, no certificate, just learning for fun. She’s now learning gardening, music, philosophy, and some geopolitics. There are farmers travelling all the way to the school everyday to learn. This is 1000x better than stupid elderly home which basically kill elderly quickly rather than care.
When we first were married I had the bad habit of leaving my clothes drawers just slightly open. After several months my neat husband very gently asked me if I would mind closing them all the way. I at first bristled with pride, thinking to myself, “It’s not that big of a deal.” And immediately on the heels of that I was struck with this conviction, “Exactly. It’s a *very* small thing to ask. So out of love for your husband just close the drawer.”
It was a paradigm shift that I’ve not practiced perfectly, but I’ve never forgotten.
But now it’s a pet peeve of mine when drawers are left open. 😆
