If you cannot sleep, do not fight it. get up and sit in the dark. dont turn on a light, dont touch your phone. sit in the darkness like its a person you came to visit, because it is. the darkness is where God put everything he was not finished with yet, and that includes you. sit with it, ask nothing, and watch what happens. thirty minutes of real darkness will teach you more than ten years of books, because books are men running from silence, and darkness is silence with its eyes open. and it will look at you, and you will want to run. and if you run, you lost the round. get back up tomorrow night, sit again, last longer. eventually it speaks.
The fact that we’ve reached a point in human evolution where we have to schedule/remind ourselves to exercise to avoid sitting in a chair staring at a screen all day is pretty wild to think about
Love all the influencers in Dubai having to sleep in a parking garage then going “First of all, our team is okay we’re in a secure location” after bragging about everything daily and being surprised when they’re living in the middle east and something like this happens
@TheInfoDon Depends where you go. I drove my 488 through Lisbon Portugal the other day and the entire city just pauses to watch as you drive by.
Miami, that car is nothing. Detached reality from most of the world
I think the most depressing fact about humanity is that during the 2000s most of the world was handed essentially free access to the entirety of knowledge and that didn't trigger a golden age.
Just realized the only materialistic thing that’s every truly brought me joy is my car. Everyone whines and says buying one is financially irresponsible, but as soon as you sit in YOUR Ferrari your mindset changes.
Not to mention the doors these cars can open for you.
My wife and I are gifting $6.25 billion to 25 million children 10 and under from zip codes where the median income is less than $150K to seed their @InvestAmerica24 accounts
