📊What's the Best Route in CFB?

▫️Curl, Slant, Out, Comeback: Reliable, high-efficiency options w/ limited explosiveness
▫️Post, Corner, Seam: Moderate success & high explosive rates; excellent EPA—key routes for chunk plays.
▫️Double Move Deep: Best performer in per-route bases.
▫️Screen: Because most-screens are targeted, high per-route success rate despite negative EPA/play
▫️Swing, Checkdowns: Poor success/explosiveness, negative EPA/play

💡Main Takeaway: Spectrum between routes like Curls, w/ high efficiency + low explosiveness and routes like Posts w/ lower efficiency + high explosiveness

🤔Future works will look at team level route utilization & performance. Do good teams run good routes? Or do they get more from traditionally poor performing routes?
