The young man accused of cloning Tinubu's voice, Ifechukwu Dennis, the alleged originator of an AI-generated voice note impersonating the President @officialABAT, had languished in police detention and later in the Kuje Correctional Centre.
Today, however, human rights lawyer Prince Wayne Esq. Aluta Icon Chikeze secured his release. We were present in court to witness it, and we've since confirmed that he's rejoined his family.
We have now learned that the Nigeria Police Force has filed fresh charges against him at the Federal High Court, in what appears to be a continuation of his ordeal.
This fight is far from over. We will continue to challenge these charges and stand with him until he is completely free from what we believe to be an oppressive campaign of persecution.
Nigeria's young people need opportunities to learn, innovate, create, and flourish, not incarceration and endless prosecution.

It seems like she was promised a brand new car in exchange for spreading their propaganda. The first thing a true kidnapping victim would be worried about is their safety, not a car. she didn't even ask about her children.
Not many leaders have the courage to invite the United Nations to investigate security threats within their borders. Governor Seyi Makinde just did.
He is proving that he has nothing to hide and everything to protect. While others play local politics, GSM is thinking globally. This is the difference between leadership that cares and leadership that hides.

DAVE UMAHI AND THE 5 MISSING NELAN ENGINEERS
“The firm detailed 5 of their best engineers on the project. They were;
Engr. Nelson Onyemeh — Lead consultant/CEO of NELAN Consultants, from Ihiala, Anambra State.
• Engr. Ernest Edeani — From Nkanu, Enugu State.
• Engr. Ikechukwu Ejiofor — From Umunya, Anambra State.
• Engr. Samuel Aneke — From Nkanu, Enugu State.
• Engr. Stanley Nwazulum — From Amawbia, Anambra State.
In the course of their job, there was serious tensions between NELAN and the Umahi administration over project control and payments. According to the families of the 5 engineers, the Umahi government allegedly wanted NELAN to “take a back seat” so the state could exercise direct control, issue payment certificates, and give instructions to contractors. The then governor Umahi reportedly wanted NELAN to sign/approve certificates of satisfactory completion for work supervised or executed by other engineers/contractors — something NELAN refused, arguing it violated AfDB contract terms, their professional obligations, and risked the firm (and possibly the project) being blacklisted by the AfDB.
On November 3, 2021, the 5 engineers left Enugu for Ebonyi state in an official Toyota Hilux with registration ERR 001 EB for site supervision but never came back till this very moment neither were their remains found till date.”

• ₦3.5bn for a Technical & Vocational Training College in Kaduna.
• ₦1.4bn for road construction in Ogun.
• ₦700m for dental X-ray machines and dental chairs in Ekiti.
All under the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children Education.
And this wasn't a one-off.
While analysing the 2026 budget, we found 11,122 constituency projects worth ₦6.93 trillion that blur agency mandates, making it harder for Nigerians to follow the money and hold the right institutions accountable.
We unpacked what this means for the credibility of the 2026 budget in our Federal Government Approved Budget Analysis.

Comedian Ali Siddiq said Netflix turned down multiple comedy specials he submitted. After those rejections, he told his manager to stop pitching his work to them.
He bet on himself in 2022 and decided to independently produce his comedy specials and release them on YouTube.
Seven comedy specials later, he has accumulated over 300 million total views while doing his comedy show in arenas and is now promoting his new special like this:
“No subscription needed.”

I just learned that under Ghana’s Free Senior High School policy, the government pays the WASSCE registration fees for every student in public schools.
Then I looked at Nigeria, where WAEC and NECO fees have just increased.
I’m struggling to understand the logic.
Nigeria has one of the largest populations of out-of-school children in the world.
Thousands of children drop out every year because their families simply cannot keep up with the cost of education.
Education is under attack in Nigeria and we have to fight back.

Welcome back home, Sir!
God's generosity towards us is not naïve but wise. He sees within us the potential of a good that, at times, we ourselves might fail to recognize. For this reason, the Lord, who knows the soil of our hearts better than we, never ceases to believe in us—in who we are and in who we can become, day by day, if we entrust ourselves to him in faith. #GospelOfToday (Mt 13:1–23) #Angelus
