3,000 young #Agniveers recruited under the Agnipath scheme played active and key role during India’s #OperationSindoor, say government reports.

– Nearly 200 Agniveers precisely operated Indian military #AirDefence Units.
– The #Akashteer, which proved to be India’s invaluable weapon to counter Pakistani drone attacks, was operated with the assistance of young agniveers.
– Agniveers, mostly in early 20s, showed grit as gunners, #FireControl operators, radio operators, etc.
– Agniveers also eliminated targets with shoulder-fired #missiles and manned & fired guns. 
– Even more, the Agniveers manned #radars, launched the Pechora, Schilka, OSA-AK, Strela, Tunguska and MRSAM missiles.

The success of Agniveers in real #combat proves their value and practicality beyond doubt.

In just 2 years, #Agnipath emerges as a farsighted recruitment strategy to make #IndianMilitary forces younger, leaner, meaner and all the more lethal.

– NVS-01 satellite launched yesterday by #ISRO is first of the 2nd-generation #NavIC satellites. It will augment India's terrestrial, aerial & marine navigation capabilities as also location-based services, personal mobility, resource monitoring, surveying, geodesy, etc
– As it will cover India & area up to 1500 km beyond our borders, #NVS01 also has strategic significance
– Besides, @ISRO Chairman S. Somanath says he is confident about launching #Chandrayaan3 in July
