@juicy_deby @LisaPettigrew90 @Kayla_Blackhall @HM_Passport By letter.We didn’t have the old passport,reported it lost as the passport office lost it.We also took the letter to fasttrack and they cancelled it at fasttrack due to not receiving the letter. I believe they have changed the rules now though and you can’t do it this way anymore

@SportyMuslimah @AliceRobertsWar @Kayla_Blackhall @HM_Passport It doesn’t surprise me as passport office are a complete joke!!… I think this is what everyone was turning to out of desperation as the standard process it’s a complete shambles. We were lucky, we cancelled our application and got it through the fasttrack.

@LisaPettigrew90 @Kayla_Blackhall @HM_Passport We originally applied for renewal in jan and heard nothing so decided to cancel the application beginning of March and booked fasttrack for 16/03, passport arrived bang on 7 days after fasttact appointment on 23/03.

@Kayla_Blackhall @HM_Passport Yes as long as your original application has not been approved. If it’s been approved then it will be too late for them to cancel. This is what I done for my sons renewal. Someone I know had a fasttrack but was turned away as the original application had already been approved.

She drove 4 hours to fasttrack and they would do her a new application as they could not cancel her previous online application as it had been showing as being processed. No refund either!

U may want to check but apparantly if your online app has been processed they won’t be able to cancel this at fasttrack to then issue a new app. My online app hadn’t been processed so they were able to cancel it and issue new app at fasttrack

@natshollands @MissluluShort @HollyRead2 @HM_Passport Oh no nightmare. I think you can apply for a copy online if you can’t find it, I’d imagine there is most likely a small fee for this though.
