Out of the Furnace isn’t a perfect film by any means- it has its flaws- but seeing Christian Bale & Casey Affleck share the screen in this film is utterly special & a reason to remember this film. Bale & Affleck each own Oscars. They’re also each known for their intensity, which is why they’re excellent scene partners. If you haven’t seen this film yet, I think you should toss it on your watchlist & give it a go one of these nights.
