@0xmichalis In a project I'm advising on we still deliver a good UX without hardcoding the gatway. We query the contract for the IPFS hash and then simply append it to our own gateway.

Our website has the images loaded quickly, but on-chain we use canonical IPFS URLs. Best of both worlds.
