COMPOSING FACT: Writing fast music is bad, because it takes too many notes to make a piece long enough. Generally speaking, fast music is fake and a scam.
COROLLARY: Writing slow music is great. You put down like, 20 notes and it's a whole minute long. All music should be slow.
I’m so excited for this collaboration between some of my favorite musicians ever! I love having the opportunity to watch the recording sessions, and I’m learning so much about this process. As an aspiring composer, these insights are invaluable and inspiring!
