@andyburnham Only on some matters, but national strategic decisions needs to be centralised. The water, train, power are all examples where decisions made at a regional level doesn't work for the national interests i.e why can't water be piped from Scotland / Yorkshire to Southern England

@MorganBarrettX Ridiculous, you can not eradicated TB. There are no known cases of humans contracting TB from eating cooked meat. Solution is surely to vacinnate all cattle then you don't need to worry about testing. Remove the lungs and lymph nodes, rest of carcass ok to consume.

@BrianEntin I did a project which required 25MW of power and the distance from residential properties was many kilometers and we still needed to have noise attenuation. Looks like they have 9 or so gas fired generators within a stones throw - how did this get through planning - insane??

@EdwardHobden The Scots have a sgian-dubh (black knife) and dirk (dagger) but can only be worn as part of Highland traditional outfit. You can not just walk around with them without the right attire, or brandish them in public so you can wear traditional knives but there are restrictions.
